Machine Learning Sr. Engineer
(Artificial Intelligence Studio)

Our mission as a team is to develop, integrate and deliver machine learning-based solutions for solving some real-world situations. The project we are working on focuses on delivering modern solutions for a smart waste management company based in The United States.

We are looking for an analytical, collaborative, and dependable Machine Learning Sr. Engineer to work on everything related to the quality of our delivery.

We work with state-of-the-art edge solutions in order to process huge amounts of data taken from the field. Moreover, our algorithms have to be validated, integrated, monitored, and scaled by employing compute capacity from cloud providers.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Propose and implement solutions using Machine Learning techniques in solving different real-world problems

• Take part in the DevOps process in order to deploy the solution in a scalable and cost-efficient manner

• Research for new Artificial Intelligence technologies that can be used in current projects

• Conduct independent exploratory research in Machine Learning)

• Improve our engineering practice through brainstorming sessions, code reviews

We envision our dream person for this job to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, applied mathematics, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning

• Relevant experience with mentoring and technical leading teams of developers

• Strong client communication skills (structure, clarity, longer-term vision, team coordination, prioritization)

• General skills related to Artificial Intelligence: algorithms, mathematics/statistics, data analysis

• Programming experience: Python

• Working experience with machine learning frameworks, like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch

• Working experience with UNIX systems: Linux or macOS

• Bash skills

• Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer

• Strong analytical ability and problem analysis techniques

• Advanced English skills

• Solid time estimation ability, strong ability to prioritize work

• Versatility and adaptability

• Collaboration and team mindset

• Previous experience with IOT is a plus
